29 people were arrested, and 31 illegal marijuana grow operations countywide, including two in Twentynine Palms and five in Wonder Valley, were shut down during the eleventh week of illegal marijuana grow raids. According to Sheriff’s reports, deputies and investigators from the San Bernardino County Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) served 29 search warrants at properties in Lucerne Valley, Twentynine Palms, Wonder Valley, Helendale, Newberry Springs, Pinon Hills, Phelan, Lenwood, Loma Linda, San Gabriel, Rosemead, Monterey Park and El Mirage from November 8 through November 14 as part of Operation Hammer Strike, week eleven. During this time, investigators arrested 29 suspects and eradicated 132 greenhouses, including two indoor locations. Deputies seized 23,720 marijuana plants, 3,352.4 pounds of processed marijuana, four guns, and over $91,000 in cash. Investigators also mitigated two electrical bypasses and one THC extraction lab.
The raids came as a result of numerous complaints received regarding large outdoor marijuana cultivations in the areas. The suspects were cited or booked on charges of illegal cultivation of cannabis and possession of marijuana for sales. A complete list of suspects and raided properties is available below.
