Registered nurses at Hi-Desert Medical Center, as well as seven other Tenet-affiliated facilities in Florida and Arizona, will hold a one-day strike today (Friday, September 20) to urge management to invest in nursing staff. Strikers say this investment will improve the recruitment and retention of experienced RNs, and ensure optimal patient care. The strike is set for 7 a.m. Friday, through 7 a.m. Saturday morning.
