An anniversary today… 21 years ago today, the June 28, 1992 Landers Earthquake struck. The 7.3 temblor caused one tragic death and widespread damage in the West end of the Morongo basin. Of note was the remarkable way our communities rallied to help each other in the wake of the quake in the first few days before organized assistance arrived.
