21 people were arrested, and 22 illegal marijuana grow operations countywide were shut down during the fourteenth week of illegal marijuana grow raids. According to Sheriff’s reports, deputies and investigators from the San Bernardino County Marijuana Enforcement Team (MET) served 22 search warrants at properties in Lucerne Valley, Helendale, Johnson Valley, Hinkley, El Mirage, Rancho Cucamonga, El Monte, and San Gabriel from November 29 through December 5 as part of Operation Hammer Strike, week fourteen. During this time, investigators arrested 21 suspects and eradicated 312 greenhouses. Deputies seized 19,117 marijuana plants, 10,844 pounds of processed marijuana, nine guns, and over $99,000 in cash. Investigators also mitigated one electrical bypass and eradicated one THC extraction lab.
The raids came as a result of numerous complaints received regarding large outdoor marijuana cultivations in the areas. The suspects were cited or booked on charges of illegal cultivation of cannabis and possession of marijuana for sales. A complete list of suspects and raided properties is available below.
