2020 MISS YUCCA VALLEY CONTESTANTS SOUGHT

The Rotary Club of Yucca Valley is looking for Yucca Valley area high school junior girls to participate in the annual 2020 Miss Yucca Valley Scholarship Pageant. The pageant is not a beauty contest, but awards college scholarships to girls who are poised, congenial, and relaxed with the public. Rebecca Havely has more information about how girls can apply to be in the scholarship pageant…

Miss Yucca Valley and her court serve as good will ambassadors for the Town of Yucca Valley for an entire year following their coronation in February. Girls who are interested in competing in the Miss Yucca Valley Scholarship Pageant must attend a mandatory orientation meeting September 9 at 6 p.m. at Joshua Springs Christian School in Building F-5. If you attended an orientation meeting earlier this year, you do not need to attend this meeting. The application with the policies and procedures for Miss Yucca Valley are available on the Miss Yucca Valley Scholarship Pageant Facebook page or at the orientation meeting. For more information, call John Babrowski at 760-567-2006.
