2 YUCCA VALLEY RESIDENTS ACCUSED OF SELLING DRUGS

Two Yucca Valley residents were arrested Friday, accused of selling drugs. Deputies were called to the Walmart in Yucca Valley about 11:30 a.m. by an employee who said that Ronald Willis, 36, who had been barred from the store, was inside the grocery department and filling up bags with merchandise, along with another person. Deputies arrived and detained Willis, along with Melanie Willis, 39. During the investigation, Willis and Willis were found to be in possession of multiple drugs for sale. Ronald Willis and Melanie Willis were arrested for investigation of being in possession of controlled substance for sales, and on multiple warrants. Ronald Willis was booked into the West Valley Detention Center; Melanie Willis was booked into the Central Detention Center, with their bail set at $50,000 each.
