2 YUCCA VALLEY MEN ARRESTED WITH STOLEN VEHICLE

Two Yucca Valley men were arrested early Thursday (April 14) morning following a traffic stop that revealed a no-bail warrant and a stolen car. According to Sherriff’s logs, deputies attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle just before midnight on Wednesday near Chipmunk Trail and Elata Avenue in Yucca Valley. The black truck was pulling a trailer and reportedly did not use their turn signal, prompting the traffic stop. When the vehicle yielded, the deputies reported that the vehicle was spray painted black and had no license plate. Deputies contacted the passenger of the vehicle, Aaron Wiese, 47, and discovered that he had a no-bail felony warrant for parole violations. The driver of the truck was identified as Thomas Brown, 41. When deputies located the vehicle’s VIN and checked it, they found the vehicle to be stolen. Subsequently, both men were arrested. Aaron Wiese was arrested for his no-bail warrant and booked into the West Valley Detention Center. Thomas Brown was arrested for investigation of possessing a stolen vehicle and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.
