Two women were arrested Friday, May 22, after they were found with methamphetamine. About 9 p.m., a deputy stopped a vehicle for having a burned out light near Utah Trail and Foothill Drive in Twentynine Palms. Inside the vehicle were Kayla Hartwell, 30, of Colton, and Krystal Marquez, 29, of Yucca Valley. The deputy made a search of the vehicle and found methamphetamine. Kayla Hartwell and Krystal Marquez were arrested on suspicion of transporting methamphetamine for sales, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and released with no bail.
