2 JOSHUA TREE MEN ACCUSED OF THREATENING TO STAB STORE EMPLOYEES

Two Joshua Tree men were arrested after they threatened to stab employees of a convenience store. About 5 a.m. on New Year’s Day, deputies were called to the My Goods convenience store on Highway 62 in Joshua Tree for a disturbance. Employees said that Joshua Steigel, 36, and Aaron Bloch, 34, were threatening to stab the employees and threw items around in the parking lot. After an investigation, Joshua Steigel and Aaron Bloch were arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with their bail set at $50,000 each.
