Both Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms High Schools girls’ basketball teams will be competing in CIF play-off games tonight. The Yucca Valley Lady Trojans are 20-7 overall, 9-and-7 in DeAnza League play. They won their first play-off game Thursday night against San Dimas High School, 51-38. They will travel away to South Pasadena High School, who are 21-1 overall, 10-and-0 in league play. The CIF Southern Section Division 3A play-off game starts at 7 p.m.
The Twentynine Palms Lady ’Cats will host Flintridge Sacred Heart High School at home tonight. The Lady ’Cats are 20-and-6 overall, 12-and-0 in league play. The Lady ’Cats had a bye in the Thursday night play-offs. Flintridge Sacred Heart is 14-and-12 overall, 4-and-4 in league play. Tip-off in Wildcat Gym is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for students.
