The Humanitarian Emergency Lifeline Project has two drive-thru food giveaways this week.
On Wednesday, pantry food will be given away in Flamingo Heights at the Flamingo Heights Community Center, 55977 Perris Street. The give-away begins at 9:30 a.m.
On Thursday, a fresh produce box will be given away in Landers at Homestead Valley Park, 1340 Belfield Blvd. at approximately 9:30 a.m. (or when delivery truck arrives from LA). This food giveaway will be every other Thursday, beginning with the April 1 giveaway.
