A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Tuesday, accused of being in possession of drugs and burglary tools. Deputies stopped Christian McCool, 27, near Valley Vista Avenue and Navajo Trail in Yucca Valley just before 9 a.m. During a search of McCool, deputies found heroin and burglary tools. Christian McCool was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin for sales, and for possession of burglary tools, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at zero dollars.
A Yucca Valley man was arrested Sunday after he was found with drugs. Deputies stopped a vehicle in the 6900 block of Old Woman Springs Road in Yucca Valley about 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Inside the vehicle was Nicholas Shine, 20, who had a felony warrant for his arrest. During a search of the vehicle, deputies found heroin. Nicholas Shine was arrested for investigation of transporting heroin for sales and on his warrant, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and is being held on $200,000 bail. His vehicle was towed.
