Two people were arrested Wednesday after they were found looking into vehicles in a Twentynine Palms parking lot. About 10:45 a.m., residents in the military housing area in the 5900 block of Desert Knoll Avenue called deputies to report that a man and woman were walking around the complex, looking into vehicles and possibly stealing packages. Deputies located the couple, identified as Kristyanne Greene, 31, of Yucca Valley, and Drake Hubert, 19, of Joshua Tree. Inside their vehicle deputies found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The off-base military housing area is a gated community with signs clearly posted at all entry points warning about trespassing. Drake Hubert and Kristyanne Greene were arrested on suspicion of trespassing and possession of a controlled substance, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, cited and released.
