The first session of Town of Yucca Valley’s Lifeguard Certification program starts this Friday (May 13). The course runs over six days at the Yucca Valley High School swimming pool. Applicants must be at least fifteen years old and pass a skills evaluation to participate in the program. The certification is good for two years and includes Lifeguarding, First Aid training and CPR certification.
The program costs $250 – with half of that fee coming back if you are hired for a summer position at the Town of Yucca Valley’s aquatics program.
