A 19-year-old man was arrested Tuesday morning, accused of having sex with a minor girl from Yucca Valley. The girl’s family notified deputies about 5 a.m. Tuesday that the girl, whose age was not released, had not returned home after going to a movie with Cristian Hernandez, whose residence is given as Greenfield. Deputies located the girl and Hernandez a few hours later at a Yucca Valley motel. After an investigation, Cristian Hernandez was arrested on suspicion of sex crimes with a child under 14, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $250,000.
