A 17-year-old male was arrested following a string of vandalism in Yucca Valley. On January 5, a press release details that Sheriff Deputies responded to Brehm Park in Yucca Valley for a report of vandalism by graffiti. Over the following four days, the press release continues that there were three other reports of vandalism by graffiti at Brehm Park and at the Yucca Valley City Hall. The graffiti primarily consisted of the letters/wording “RIZZ, JACK BOY, SSD, SS, 69000, PARK BOYZ, TOO SUNNY, and A1KZ” The letters and wording appeared to have been done by spray paint of various colors, estimating about $6,000 in damage.
Deputies assigned to the Morongo Unified School District as School Resource Officers conducted a thorough investigation and were able to identify a 17-year-old male juvenile from Yucca Valley as the person who committed the vandalism. The suspect was arrested for investigation of vandalism.
