155 COUNTY RESIDENTS HAVE DIED FROM COVID-19

In San Bernardino, 155 county residents have died from COVID-19 according to information released by the county health department. The number of residents tested went up by 513, to 38,616. 

Out of 2.1 million county residents, 1.8 percent have been tested, and of those, 9.1 percent have been positive. The number of confirmed cases in Chino jumped by 20 on Sunday, to 521. San Bernardino has 440 confirmed cases; Fontana with 404; Ontario with 287; and Redlands with 201.

Here in the Morongo Basin, the county lists 42 cases: Joshua Tree with 15 and two deaths; Yucca Valley with 15 and one death; Twentynine Palms with six cases; and Morongo Valley with six.

The doubling time, the estimated amount of time it would take the number of cases to double, also stayed the same, at 13.4 days.
