More than 150 people; including family and friends of the graduates; joined in the tears, applause, and laughter last night as the Joshua Tree Drug Court graduated its latest class of 12 individuals who successfully completed the rehabilitation and education program. Judge Joel Agron led the event, which was filled with emotional testimonies from the graduates and heartfelt thanks to the Drug Court staff who make the program possible. Judge Agron also listed numerous statistics for the program, including total program graduates, jail days avoided, money saved, and the number of babies born into drug-free homes. Judge Agron ended the ceremony by encouraging the graduates to continue to build their lives using the tools they learned in the program.
