A man and two women were arrested in separate incidents over the weekend, accused of felony spousal abuse.
About 10:40 p.m. Friday night, a Yucca Valley man called the Sheriff’s Department to report that his fiancée kept hitting him, and that he wasn’t going to go to jail because a woman said he hit her. When deputies arrived at the 7600 block of Barberry Avenue, Daniel Driscoll, 41, and the woman both admitted they had struck each other. Driscoll had a laceration to his bottom lip and neck, while the woman had redness to her chest and two superficial cuts on her right shoulder. Both refused medical assistance. The deputy determined that Driscoll was the dominant aggressor in the fight. Daniel Driscoll was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000. The deputy will forward a report to the district attorney’s office to determine if charges should be brought against the woman.
About 11:15 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to the 74000 block of Casita Drive in Twentynine Palms when a neighbor said a woman was chasing a man on the property. After an investigation, Lakrecia McNealty, 30, was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse. Lakrecia McNealty was booked into West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000.
And about 11:40 p.m., neighbors called deputies to the 55200 block of Airlane Drive in Yucca Valley for a report of a man and woman screaming at each other. A deputy’s report states that Martha Williams, 63, and her boyfriend of 17 years got into an argument, and that Williams scratched the man numerous times on his face, neck, and body. The man refused medical attention. Martha Williams was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $50,000.
