A Yucca Valley woman was arrested Tuesday, accused of arson. Just before noon, a passer-by called to report a fire in a vacant lot northwest of the intersection of Prescott Avenue and Highway 62. Firefighters quickly put out the small vegetation fire. A witness noticed a woman lighting the fire and leaving the scene. Deputies checked the area and found a woman, identified as Kimberly Webber, 44, who matched the description of the suspect. After an investigation, Kimberly Webber was arrested on suspicion of arson, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $50,000.
