The Yucca Valley Town Council meets tonight for the first time this year. Managing editor Tami Roleff fills in the details of what looks to be a routine meeting…
At tonight’s meeting of the Yucca Valley Town Council—its first meeting of 2020—the council has a consent agenda filled with items related to the library: amendments to the renovation contracts and the lease with the county. The council will also be asked to reject a claim for vehicle damage from Erich Jacobs. Under new business, the council will be asked to approve a resolution to adopt the Yucca Valley Title XI program; accept a notice of completion for the exterior of the California Welcome Center renovation; and accept a report on the regional transportation program. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center.
