A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday, accused of stabbing a woman during an argument. According to a Sheriff’s report, Earnest Finister, 53, was arguing with the woman about 1 p.m. in the 56600 block of Mountain View Trail when he allegedly stabbed her multiple times in both arms with a kitchen knife. The victim was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs to be treated for her injuries. Earnest Finister was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
