“Wonka” plays for free tonight in Twentynine Palms for return of Summer Movie Series

The outdoor movie screenings hosted by the city of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department proudly presents the return of the Summer Movie Series are moving indoors and begin tonight. 

The City’s Summer Movie Series will be held at the Twentynine Palms Community Center this summer, and they have a fun, family-friendly line-up of films set for the Thursdays in June and July.

Tonight, check out Wonka, the newly released musical from the director’s of “Paddington” and starring Timothee Chalamet and Hugh Grant. There is no entrance fee, and the films are free to all members of the public.

As moviegoers are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enhance their viewing experience. There will also be drawings for kids, adding an extra element of fun to the evening’s festivities.

Tonight’s show begins at 8 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Community Center, located at 6547 Freedom Way, Twentynine Palms.
