A 20-year-old man was arrested Tuesday night, accused of arson. A resident near the Yucca Valley soccer field off Antelope and Dumosa called firefighters and Sheriff’s deputies just before 11 p.m. last night to report a man had set the restrooms near the community center soccer field on fire. Firefighters found that the fire was in a trash can outside the restrooms. Deputies quickly located a suspect, Romeo Ramirez, 20, who matched the description provided by the witness. Romeo Ramirez was arrested for investigation of arson and causing a fire to a structure, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
