FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION IN JOSHUA TREE TOMORROW

The Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County will hold a distribution of free, surplus federal food on Friday, February 12, from 10 to noon, at the Way Station. The Way Station is located at 61722 Commercial Street in downtown Joshua Tree.

FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION TOMORROW IN TWENTYNINE PALMS AND WONDER VALLEY

The Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County will hold a distribution of free, surplus federal food at two locations on Tuesday, February 9. A distribution will be held at the 29 Palms Food Pantry, 6450 Stardune Avenue, from 10 to noon. 

The second distribution will be at the Wonder Valley Community Center on Amboy Road. The food give-away is a week earlier due to the Presidents’ Day holiday, and is for Wonder Valley residents only. The distribution starts at 10 a.m. until the food is gone. Wonder Valley residents may pick up one bag of groceries for a neighbor if a signed pick-up form is presented. Masks are required, and residents must stay in their vehicles.

  • Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 59077 Yucca Trail in Yucca Valley, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.;
  • Belfield Hall, 58380 Reche Road in Landers, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.;
  • 29 Palms Community Pantry, 6450 Stardune Avenue, 10 a.m. to noon;
  • and the Joshua Tree Community Center, 6171 Sunburst Avenue, 10 a.m. to noon.

The Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino will distribute surplus food to low-income residents of the Morongo Basin at four locations today (Monday, January 11). The distribution is a week early due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday next week. The locations and times are:

  • Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 59077 Yucca Trail in Yucca Valley, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.;
  • Belfield Hall, 58380 Reche Road in Landers, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.;
  • 29 Palms Community Pantry, 6450 Stardune Avenue, 10 a.m. to noon;
  • and the Joshua Tree Community Center, 6171 Sunburst Avenue, 10 a.m. to noon.

A distribution of free food will be held in Wonder Valley a week earlier than usual due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The food give-away, for Wonder Valley residents only, is set for 10 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday January 12 until the food is gone, at the Wonder Valley Community Center on Amboy Road.
