STOLEN CIRCUS MOTORCYCLES FOUND, RETURNED

The show can go on with the circus in Yucca Valley thanks to an observant neighbor who noticed his neighbors suddenly had two new dirt bikes. According to Sheriff’s Deputy Wayne Greer, two performance motorcycles used in the circus were stolen sometime during the early morning hours Saturday. Officials with the circus reported the bikes stolen about noon Saturday. A few hours later, a resident in the 58600 block of Campero Drive in Yucca Valley notified the Sheriff’s Department that his neighbors suddenly had a white and blue 1990 Yamaha RT100 and a 2000 red and white Honda RX100 dirt bikes. Greer said an investigation determined that the dirt bikes were those that had been reported stolen from the circus. According to Greer, the circus owners were just happy to have their motorcycles back and declined to press charges against those suspected of stealing the bikes.
