SHERIFF’S HOMICIDE DETECTIVES ARREST PARENTS IN CHILD’S SUSPICIOUS DEATH

A Landers couple was arrested Thursday morning after their son died of possible heat stroke. According to authorities, Morongo Basin Ambulance paramedics were called to a home in the 7800 block of Boone Road about 6 p.m. for a sick child. The boy, Dylan Biscamp, 7, was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center for possible heat stroke and was pronounced deceased upon arrival. Due to suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, Sheriff’s homicide detectives were called in to investigate. Detectives interviewed Dylan’s mother, Misty Warfox, 36, and her husband, Paul Warfox, 42, about their involvement in the case. After the interview, Misty Warfox and Paul Warfox were arrested Thursday morning for investigation of willful harm or injury to a child resulting in death. They were booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with their bail set at $100,000 each.
