A local honky-tonk has been named one of the top 50 American music venues by the online review site Yelp. Pappy and Harriet’s in Pioneertown was ranked at number 17 in the list, ahead of concert halls such as the Troubadour in West Hollywood, at number 26; Tipitina’s in New Orleans at number 33; and the Fillmore in San Francisco, at number 45. Yelp ranked small and mid-sized music venues across the United States based on the number of reviews and overall star rating.
