The artist in residence is the newest trend in opportunities or artists. Visual artist John Haverty will discuss the phenomenon, his art, and his current engagement with the Joshua Tree Highland Artist Residency Program. The Copper Mountain College Student Art Club hosts the presentation on Wednesday, November 9, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in room 401 on the main CMC campus. The event is free and open to the public. Haverty holds an MFA from Savannah College of Art and Design, has been recognized as an emerging artist as recipient of awards from around the world.
