HUMAN REMAINS FOUND IN TWENTYNINE PALMS MONDAY

The Sheriff’s Homicide Division is investigating the discovery of human remains in Twentynine Palms. According to limited information from the Sheriff’s Department, a man was walking his dog in Twentynine Palms about Monday when he came across the skeletal remains, which still had clothing on them. Deputies were called to the 73100 block of Cactus Drive at 7:40 p.m. to begin the investigation, but it’s not known at this time where the remains were found or if they are male or female.
