Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Twentynine Palms Friday. Firefighters were called to the intersection of Utah Trail and Amboy Road at 5:44 p.m. Friday for a report of a traffic collision. First responders found a Ford Mustang with major damage and another vehicle. The driver and passengers of the Mustang, a 21-year-old man, 22-year-old woman, and a girl, required minor extrication. The two adults from the Mustang were seriously injured; the woman was taken by Morongo Basin Ambulance to Hi-Desert Medical Center and then flown by Mercy Air to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, and the man was taken by Morongo Basin Ambulance to Desert Regional. The girl was transported to Desert Regional and the 50-year-old female driver of the second vehicle was taken by MBA to Hi-Desert Medical Center. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
