The Yucca Valley Town Council will hold a Special meeting at 10 a.m. on January 9 to discuss and review the Gates of Spain Mobile home Expansion Plans.

On December 1, the Yucca Valley Town Council prevented an effort by the new owners of the Gates of Spain Mobile Home Park to open the facility to residents of all ages. A special meeting to continue this discussion is scheduled for tomorrow morning.

To study the requested changes for the Gates of Spain Mobile Park and consider creating a new policy, the Yucca Valley Town Council voted to enact a 45-day moratorium. Thirty-nine days into the suspension, the Town Council will meet again to discuss this issue further.

The Special meeting is at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center, 57090 TWENTYNINE PALMS HWY.

The Public is welcome.
