Yucca Valley Town Council reviews Measure Y, other town business

At tonight’s Yucca Valley Town Council meeting, the Council will receive a presentation by General Manager Cheri Holsclaw on the Basin Transit Update and receive and review the General Fund and Measure Y Partnership Funding Allocations.

On tonight’s agenda, the Council will review and approve the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funds, estimated at $595,457, and review the associated project list. Town Staff will publish and transmit the approved project list to the California Transportation Commission. Additionally, a request for the Yucca Valley Sports Complex Masterplan proposal is also on the agenda. Lastly, the Council will receive and file the HOPE update report.

HOPE is the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Homeless Outreach and Proactive Enforcement team project. The meeting will be 6 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center, Yucca room, or online.

Groundbreaking at Essig Park with a photo opportunity will be at 4:30 and then to Onaga Trail ribbon cutting immediately after. Parking at Crossview Bible Church, 56374 Onaga Trail.
