Tonight’s Yucca Valley Town Council meeting agenda is packed with Town business, including a request for contractors’ pre-qualifications for the Yucca Valley Aquatic and Recreation Center Project and a review of Ordinance No. 306, increasing the Town Council Member compensation to 671.00 monthly, beginning on January 1, 2025. The Yucca Valley Town Council will also review and approve diagrams in the Engineer’s reports for Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance Districts and Street and Drainage Maintenance Districts and authorize the assessment levy upon real property. Additionally, the Council will conduct a public hearing on solid waste handling service charges to be added to the property tax roll. Finally, the Council will review Measure Y, Essig Park Improvements Project, and the 2023 San Bernardino Point-in-Time Count Final Report.
