Mayor Denison presents the State of the Town, the town council will recognize the yucca valley high school football team’s historic season.
The Town will go over holding temporary special events in residential family zones, temporary short term vacation rental permits and branding mascots and statues.
On the consent agenda, a second reading of the marijuana delivery ordinance that will permit non-storefront delivery only medical marijuana within Yucca Valley and an RFP will be authorized for the Yucca Valley Community Center Athletic Facility Masterplan.
The Town Council will also discuss nominating the next Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem. Following tradition the town council would set the new council by seniority – however the town council may choose to nominate and confirm through majority vote any member of the Council for Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem based on qualifications, need or other criteria.
