Yucca Valley Planning Commission will discuss design changes for Old Town business

The Yucca Valley Planning Commission will discuss approval for design features for Snake Bite Roadhouse.

The Yucca Valley Planning Commission will review an application by Snake Bite Roadhouse that concerns an exterior color change, statuary installation, and design features.The restaurant’s west-facing wall is currently painted black; Town Staff requests review as to whether the color compliments the desert setting and surroundings. Snake Bite Roadhouse also seeks approval for several rope swings hung near the entrance, and to install a statuary motorcycle on their north-facing side on Highway 62. The Commission will determine whether these features fit within the guidelines of the Old Town Specific Plan and Commercial Design Guidelines for Yucca Valley.

The Planning Commission will also review approval for A Conditional Use Permit for Time Warner Cable on La Contenta Road.

Tonight’s meeting is open to the public and will take place at 6 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center.
