Yucca Valley Planning Commission to consider Exterior Color Change for fourth time

The Yucca Valley Planning Commission meeting will begin with a Public Hearing concerning a Class III Home Occupation Permit. The applicant proposes to conduct private music lessons and music composition within an accessory dwelling unit, with a maximum of five customers per day, five days per week. Town Staff recommends that the Commission approve the application.

The Commission will then consider an Exterior Color Change application for Taqueria El Comandante, located at 56945 Twentynine Palms Highway. Tonight will be the fourth time the item has come before the Commission; it was previously continued, with the recommendation that the applicant work with Town Staff to select a color palette and landscape plan compliant with the Commercial Design Guidelines. Town Staff recommends that the Commission again continues the item.

The Planning Commission will also receive the Land Development Update.

Tonight’s meeting is open to the public and begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center.
