Yucca Valley Planning Commission reviewed the Private Land Development update

Last night’s Yucca Valley Planning Commission meeting was short but productive. The Commissioners agreed on the consent agenda and reviewed the Private Land Development Update report.

During the Yucca Valley Planning Commission meeting, Deputy Town Manager Shane Stueckle presented the Private Land Development Update Report. Black Bear Diner will be moving into the Sizzler building, and the Onaga Trail sidewalk project is going out for bids.

There are no updates currently on signage and mural discussions, but the town has an ongoing program for cleaning up abandoned murals and signs. The Fish and Game Commission meeting is on the 12th, and the town is still waiting for decisions on protection for the western Joshua Tree. The town staff has aggressively been working to clean up abandoned shopping carts.

The next scheduled meeting is on October 11.
