Yucca Valley Planning Commission discusses new businesses in Land Development Report

Last’s night’s meeting ended around 6:30 after staff updated the Commissioners on the Land Development Update Report.

As reported, Chipotle will be announced at the next meeting.

High Desert Time, Wine and Rock shop, and Nice Dreams ice cream have working applications.

The application and plans for Black Bear Diner are coming in tomorrow at 2:30.

Applications for Domino’s, and Jersey Mikes are under review.

Lastly, a Starbucks at Stater Bros West has a working application for store with a drive-through and parking for 16 vehicles.

There are currently 58 short-term rental applications available. The number goes up and down due to owners selling or changing from short-term to long-term rental property.

Charter Communications will be coming in soon with a new building application, and the new Yucca Valley Council Chambers is in the design stage.
