YUCCA VALLEY MATERIAL LAB RECEIVED CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL GRANT AND PLANS BIG CHANGES

The California Arts Council awarded a grant to the Yucca Valley Material Lab, allowing YVML to create a part-time position for a Community Outreach Coordinator.

In times of significant changes, including the Arts Council grant, the Yucca Valley Material Lab has also decided to apply for 501 c3. Additionally, the Lab is expanding its facilities to include a foundry. Four workshops are still available in the current catalog of ten classes—a one-day workshop to design and fabricate one to two band rings held on October 22. Create a steel side table with glass from November 3 to the 6 and a large-scale Matrix Rubber Mold workshop from November 10 through 12. The final available workshop for this session is the FeltLoom Lexi Workshop on February 4 and 5.
