A Sheriff’s release said Thursday,May 19, at about 1:00 a.m, deputies working in the city of Twentynine Palms observed a motorcycle violate several vehicle codes. Deputies attempted a stop, but the motorcycle fled through residential streets at speeds of over 60 miles per hour. At the termination of the pursuit the rider, Jerome Eads, became uncooperative and began fighting with the deputies. Eads was ultimately detained and, upon a records check, found to be on post-release community supervision and had an active No Bail Felony Warrant for Evading.
