A Yucca Valley man, already on probation for felony failure to yield, was arrested after deputies say he failed to yield again and then fought with them. A Sheriff’s release said Thursday,May 19, at about 1:00 a.m, deputies working in the city of Twentynine Palms observed a motorcycle violate several vehicle codes. Deputies attempted a stop, but the motorcycle fled through residential streets at speeds of over 60 miles per hour. The motorcycle became disabled when the driver was not able to maneuver it through soft sand. At the termination of the pursuit the rider, Jerome Eads, became uncooperative and began fighting with the deputies. Eads was ultimately detained and, upon a records check, found to be on post-release community supervision and had an active No Bail Felony Warrant for Evading. Jerome Eads was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for investigation of Felony Evading, Felony resisting arrest, and Felony assault of a peace officer. He was booked with no bail.
