Yucca Valley’s Hi-Desert Water District board of directors meets today (Dec. 13, 2023) for a special meeting at 4:30 p.m.
The focus of today’s special meeting at the Hi-Desert Water District will be Phase 2 and 3 of the sewage treatment plant. With the plant and Phase 1 now complete, the general manager is seeking board approval to enter into an Owner’s Representative Professional Services Agreement which will provide the district with necessary project management assistance to construct approximately half the remaining project. And in a related matter, the board will execute an agreement with the County for a $1,000,000 grant to fund material for the Capital Replacement Program.
Today’s meeting takes place at the district office on the highway at Inca Trial.
