Wonder Valley dirt roads to get $450k grader – more at Tomorrow’s BOS Meeting

At tomorrow’s (October 4, 2022) 10 a.m. meeting of County Supervisors in San Bernardino, the board is expected to approve some relief for anyone who drives the 178 miles of road in Wonder Valley.

Among many items on the tomorrow’s consent agenda, the board is expected to approve $450,000 for purchase of a motor grader for use in Wonder Valley. The county provides road maintenance there and this piece of heavy construction equipment is used to flatten or grade dirt roads. The current grader, which was purchased used in 2015 has become increasingly expensive to maintain.

Tomorrow’s meeting will be live-streamed to the video conferencing facility at the Bob Burke Government Center in Joshua Tree where the public may attend and comment.
