WITH BLOOD SUPPLIES CRITICAL, A BLOOD DRIVE ON THE MARINE BASE TOMORROW

If you’ve been meaning to donate blood but haven’t been able to make it off-base to do it, assignment reporter Robert Haydon has an opportunity for you to help boost blood supplies without leaving the combat center.

A blood drive for people with base access is being held this Friday (July 29) at the Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital from 9AM to 2PM. Lifestream Blood Bank has been holding blood drives around the county to help boost blood supplies which are still sitting at historically low levels. If you’d like to donate you must be at least 15 years old and in good health – you can contact Lifestream at www.lstream.org, and z1077 will always have information on upcoming blood drives on air and here online at z1077fm.com.
