The California Fish and Wildlife Commission were unable to reach a consensus last week on whether to list the western Joshua tree as threatened under California’s Endangered Species Act.
The Z107.7 Up Close show tomorrow, June 24 will feature native plant specialist Christina Sanchez for a closer look at the issue of the proposed listing of the western Joshua tree as threatened. Sanchez has been active in the issue from the beginning and is also involved in the Mojave Preserve/Cima Dome reseeding project.
