Next Saturday, July 15th – a Weed Show workshop will be held in Founders Hall art the Old Schoolhouse Museum. This year’s Weed Show theme is “The Hollywood Connection” and all the categories are movie titles. The workshop is going to go over the rules, what materials can be used, as well as composition ideas.
The Weed Show has been going on since 1940 and has a rich history here in the Morongo Basin. We’ll be covering the Weed Show again this year – for past years and some historical context – check out our past reporting alongside information from the Twentynine Palms Historical Society.
The workshop starts at 10 a.m. at the Old Schoolhouse Museum in Twentynine Palms.
