On the Hi-Desert Water District agenda, the board is expected to adopt the fiscal 2023-24 water and wastewater annual budgets and as well as set the annual appropriation limit. That meeting takes place at the district office on the highway at Inca Trail.
On down the highway on Chollita Road in Joshua Tree, the Joshua Basin Water District board will hear a third-quarter financial report and hold a legally required public hearing on standby charges although no increase is up for consideration.
