Local veterans in need of help might consider attending the Veterans Resource Fair this Saturday, September 18. Hosted by the San Bernardino Veterans Affairs department, the event will feature representatives available to help vets with issues like VA claims, healthcare issues, and county veteran ID cards.
No registration or appointments are necessary, but vets should bring a copy of their DD214, as well as their VA medical card and a picture ID.
The fair will be held at Patriotic Hall, 5885 Luckie Avenue, in Twentynine Palms from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. For more info, call 760-367-7562 x1025.
