The Twentynine Palms Water District will hold their monthly meeting tomorrow, Wednesday May 28th at 4:00 pm.
There will be a Public Hearing on the proposed adoption of an ordinance to update the district groundwater Management Plan. Ordinance #94 was adopted on October 24, 2001 and has undergone minor updates in 2008 and 2014. This updated Ordinance number 104 will supersede the previous ordinances.
The Board will consider adopting a revised purchasing authority policy for the procurement of materials; professional services; general purchases etc.
Resolution 25-06 will be considered, declaring certain water district property as surplus and authorizing disposal.
A draft for the annual budget for fiscal year 2025-26 will be presented.
The maintenance, water quality and finance reports; as well as the General Manager’s report will be presented.
Located at 72401 Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms, the meeting begins at 4:00 p.m. and the Public is most welcome to attend.
